My classes for college start tomorrow, but I was able to learn a fair bit of Italian in the time I had. However, I will definitely continue to watch videos in Italian or about Italian. It seems that the newspaper is the best way to learn for my level.

I’ve started learning Norwegian on Duolingo. I think Duolingo is a great way to get to know the language before looking at other resources that you can actually use to build your way toward fluency. Sometime this year, I want to get acquainted at least with the North Germanic languages.

One of my friends is taking a trip to Ireland this fall for a study abroad semester, so she wants to learn Irish. I’d also like to get better at Irish, so I’ve suggested we study together.

When it comes to Turkish, I felt like that was the way to go at the start of the year, but I’ve not been as motivated to do that, so I might just listen to some Turkish music as that seems to motivate me.

I don’t know, my motivation has seemed to be running thinner lately for a variety of reasons. I think maybe once I start college I can find my vibe again because I’d really like to be able to speak these languages.
